PAWcific ocean dreaming

It's a beautiful Spring Sunday here in Australia so off we went for an outing to the local harbour.
I've been down to the harbour a few times before but it was Tidda's first visit. She took to the gangways like a natural.

We like big boats, we cannot lie...
There were so many big boats and it wasn't long before we were daydreaming of a PAWcific ocean cruise. There was a gentle wind blowing, the sun was warm but not hot and waters were calm. In the middle of my daydream Tidda broke out in to her pirate impersonation.

Arrrrgh, me hearties. Tidda does a pirate impersonation.
We strolled around the harbour for a bit more. We stopped to have some photos taken and chat to some nice people, then it was time to have a mini-break and take in the view.

Things of beauty. And, some boats.
Spring can be quite warm in our neck of the woods. Today was a glorious 28 degree (82 F) day, so it's still practically swimming weather. We were really working up an appetite and thirst from all the strolling, chatting and people watching. It was time to head over to the cafe and relax a bit.

Two puppucinos and a side of liver treats please.
The cafe was the place to be. Everyone was there to see and be seen. We mingled with an Irish Setter, a Beagle a little dachie-cross and, two babies. We soon excused ourselves from the group as we needed some hydration and a snack. We wanted puppucinos but Mum and Dad said, "don't be silly - it's water for you". The lovely waitress bought us a water bowl with a side of liver treats. DELICIOUS!
Tidda says she loves being part of the cafe set and wanted to stay a little longer. We said we'd go back next weekend for another visit but for now, it was time to head home and have a Sunday snooze.

PAWfect Sunday morning!
