We're very excited to be participating in the RSPCA Million Paws Walk on Sunday 17 May!
The Million Paws Walk is really important as it raises funds to fight against animal cruelty. How? All funds raised go straight back to supporting RSPCA shelters, vet hospitals, programs, education services and Inspectors.
This is something that is important to our Mum and very dear to her heart. Mum has volunteered at animal shelters since she was a little girl. Even when she lived overseas she volunteered at shelters. Some of these were kill shelters and many beautiful souls were sent to to cross the rainbow bridge that very same day of their arrival. All Mum could do was give them lots of cuddles and play time before they departed on their final walkies. It breaks our heart to know not everyone has a safe, warm bed and lots of love like we do.
You might not know we also a feline sister and feline brother that are part of our family and are rescues. We are so happy we are all together in our forever home.
We know it can be difficult to find a few extra dollars to donate but every dollar does make a difference. And, as we really appreciate your support we have some lovely things we will be giving away at random in appreciation of donations received.
This super cute Peter Alexander Penny Dog is going off in the post to the amazing Michelle G who donated to us this week. Thank you, Michelle - your donation will provide a warm and safe bed to a dog in adoption this week.
