Life's a beach!

Today was the day! We couldn't believe it!

After two months of waiting for Tids to be ready to venture to the outside world, the day finally came. It felt like Christmas. We woke up Mum and Dad really early as we were super-excited to head out on our adventure.

Mum packed a mini picnic for us - there were treats and drinks and beach towels. It's a long drive to our favourite beach, nearly one hour. But, it's really worth it as the beach is beautiful with big rolling surf, long stretches of sand and not too many big doggies around to scare us. Oh, it's also pretty close to one of Mum and Dad's favourite cafes so that works out well too.

When we arrived at the beach we put Tidda on her lead for the first time. At first she wasn't too sure what to do - all of a sudden there were lots of new sights, sounds and smells. It only took her a minute or so and she followed me along like a natural. We were all very impressed with her lead-walking skills. Good girl, Tids!

When we got down to the beach it was the BEST fun ever! Tidda couldn't believe it. She said the beach was amazing: swimming, running and unlimited digging. She said she could never have imagined such a magical place but she was finally there.
